Welcome back to another edition of What's for Dinner - a weekly menu planning series with inspiration from my Cocina to yours.
The kiddies went back to school on Wednesday and we all returned to our regular routine, which includes time to do our grocery shopping and planning our menus for the week. This week you'll notice we had a lot more variety than last week's menu, which seemed to feature a lot of chicken. But that's how it goes. Some weeks we eat mostly chicken, other weeks we eat more Mexican dishes, and some weeks our weekly menu plan goes completely out the window. Thankfully that didn't happen this week and we only had to order take-out once.
I've included the links to the recipes that have already been featured on the blog, but if there's a recipe you'd like that I haven't shared yet let me know comments below. Also let me know if you'd like to know what Agua Frescas we have with each meal, and if you'd like to know who chose which meal.

Dear Leslie I don't know about everyone else but I would like to see ALL (pretty please) of the recipes mentioned that are not yet on the site and as soon as possible to boot. Those ham pinwheels look super yummy, the slaw, the baked 'deluxe' Malibu chicken ...well I declare..please don't make us beg for the recipes. Oh yes we want to know what aguas you served too. Seriously, thanks for sharing the recipes and weekly meals very much.
ReplyDeleteI second Shandra's yes to the agua frescas being mentioned. I am currently stuck in a limonada/jamaica rut. I don't know if it is due to the weather or just lack of imagination. Thanks so much for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet comment, Shandra! I will be posting all of the recipes very soon. :D
ReplyDeleteHi Nikki! I will be including our agua frescas in next week's What's for Dinner post. I was going to include it in this week, but I forgot. :(
ReplyDeleteThis all looks incredibly yummy. And you made tacos al pastor yourself? Wow, that seems like a lot of work.
ReplyDeleteSaludos,
